GoPro Hero4: 4 Steps - 1 swipe + 3 taps as described in mobile app
Reduction in number of times user has to look between app & camera
GoPro Hero3: 5-7 times based on app instructions & entering pin
GoPro Hero4: 2 times - once to initially connect (steps on one screen) + one time to view/enter camera name/password

Findings - Users only cared about technologies (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth) for troubleshooting purposes, addition of recovery states when users would get lost during onboarding.
